This one day course is for psychotherapists and counsellors who want to increase their knowledge and skills in addressing different types of trauma.

During the day you will have the opportunity to:

• Gain understanding of the effect of trauma physically and emotionally
• Consider holistic approaches to healing trauma
• Develop strategies for helping people reduce the effects of trauma
• Avoid re-traumatisation in your clients

We will be using aspects of transactional analysis, neuroscience, body therapy, meditation and visualisation in this workshop.

The facilitator is Francesca Hannah BA (hons), CTA, TSTA, UKCP reg. psychotherapist.

She has many years clinical experience and in teaching and supervising counsellors and psychotherapists. Francesca has also dealt with the trauma of cancer and has produced a self help website www.cancerselfcare.com.
