If you think you would like to know more, you can telephone 0161 610 0927 for an informal “chat.” Or contact us online. If you decide that you want counselling or therapy there are three options -

  • Face to face sessions
  • By e-mail
  • Over the telephone

If you want to make an appointment, the first session would include an explanation of the ‘rules’ covering our work together such as fees, confidentiality, and practical arrangements. It would also be an opportunity for us both to get to know each other a little and to decide whether we wish to continue the process in future sessions. We do not offer free ‘initial consultation’ sessions. Why?

Sessions last for 55 minutes and usually take place once a week over a period which is discussed and agreed with your counsellor. Evening and weekend appointments are available if work or other commitments make it difficult to meet during the daytime.

Beware of “Referral” systems and bogus “Assessments”

How to contact us

A £30 deposit is required when you book, to secure your appointment. But don’t worry; if you change your mind a full refund will be given provided you give us at least 24 hours notice.

You can pay the deposit here.  Just click the button below. Once done, you can then make a quick phone call to 0161 610 0927 in order to arrange the appointment.

You can pay the balance of the session fee by cash, cheque or by card (eg Maestro or Visa debit card) at your appointment.
