We offer counselling and psychotherapy in a quiet South Manchester location, with plenty of free parking and just a few minutes’ walk from Heaton Chapel railway station.
From the station, walk down Egerton Road South. Lawton Road is the second road on the left.

Leave M60 at Junction 1.* Take roundabout exit signposted Town Centre. Turn left immediately into Georges Road (signposted A6) past B&Q with Decathlon on your right. At top of hill turn left on to A6. Lawton Road is about half a mile on the left. (Lea Green Veterinary Centre is near the corner.) If you pass the Toby Carvery/Innkeeper’s Lodge on your left you have gone too far!
*Don’t confuse this with Junction 1 of the M56 (signposted ‘A34’)! You should be able to see the distinctive Co-operative Bank ‘Blue Pyramid’ offices near Junction 1 of the M60.

We’re conveniently located in Heaton Chapel, Stockport directly off Wellington Road North the A6 Manchester – Stockport road.
Take Junction 1 signposted A34. Go through two sets of traffic lights, turning right at the third set (Tesco) signposted ‘Heaton Mersey A5145’ onto Didsbury Road.
Continue past BP filling station and the Griffin public house. Go through two sets of traffic lights, and turn left at third set of lights into Bank Hall Road. This becomes Moorside Road, then Heaton Moor Road. Continue along Heaton Moor Road for ¾ mile. Turn right immediately after Heaton Chapel rail station into Egerton Road South. Lawton Road is second on the left.
From town centre follow Wilmslow Road – signposted Stockport. At Tesco bear left and cross Kingsway on to Didsbury Road. In a mile turn left at lights into Bank Hall Road. This becomes Heaton Moor Road. Turn right immediately after Heaton Chapel rail station into Egerton Road South. Lawton Road is second on the left.
Follow signs for Stockport A6. As you leave Levenshulme pass the McVities factory on the right. Cross the major junction with Heaton Moor Road (Miss Ellie’s travel agents on corner). Lawton Road is the second road on the right.
Take the A6 through Stockport towards Manchester. Pass the Mercedes and Ford dealerships on your left. Continue for about half a mile. Lawton Road is on the left immediately after Wingate Road. (Lea Green Veterinary Centre is near the corner.) If you pass the Toby Carvery/Innkeeper’s Lodge on your left you have gone too far!
When you come for counselling or psychotherapy, we shall ask you to complete a confidential Registration Form and agree to our rules. If you wish, to save time you can download and bring it with you to your first session.
